Observation
Sheet WITHOUT NOTES (14KB PDF)
I have created this sheet
as a tool for shifting my work into a more reflective and deeper
way of observing children. The Possibilities Sheet also forces me
to stay close to the work of the children! This sheet was created
in conjunction with a major mind shift that occurred after taking
a series of on line courses with Dr. George Forman. Thus the terms
that I have inserted reflect this change in mindset.
I
have sent this to you in two versions. I HIGHLY recommend that you
start with the file that has as an extension _with Teacher Notes
at the end (which is the larger of the two files). If you have acrobat
reader you will find and be able to read my thoughts for this sheet
and why I have placed what I have in it. Be sure to scroll down
each “note” to make sure you read all my thoughts or reflections
about this sheet.
So
please note-
1.
READ the red note first (this is my disclaimer and sets the stage
for what you are looking at)
2.all
the notes in blue are my reflections and rational for why I have
things inserted as such.
3.
the YELLOW NOTES are terms as defined by Dr. George Forman.- it
is his definitions or questions that I use to guide my observations
and work in the classroom each day.
The
second version (which is the smaller of the two files) is without
my notes
Please
let me know what you think or if you find it of any value to you!
Thanks…
